Retreat Dharma Talks

Essential Teachings of the Path of Awakening

Essential Teachings of the Path of Awakening retreats provide an opportunity to explore the teachings and practices of Buddhist meditation in a supportive environment. Through the combination of mindfulness meditation, wisdom teachings, silence and community, we can develop calm, kindheartedness and a sense of well-being.

In this silent retreat we will explore essential Buddhist teachings and meditation practices. There will be systematic instructions in Insight Meditation, as well as in loving-kindness (metta) practice. The evening talks will highlight the central teachings of the Buddha and their practical application to our lives.
